And on that topic, some interesting points here:

I read that yesterday and it doesn't paint a very bright picture for being a guarateed starter at Auburn and similar situation at Michigan....There are a bunch af recruits comming in and the history of Johnny Football at Texas A&M does not give him an auto start except here....But then we have Holtzitis to overcome...3-9....

On an other interesting note is the NFL draft...Defense and line getting picked before QB and receivers....USF has gotten the defense back and has good prospects for running back...a DECENT QB would bring us back..I only wish he would take that into account before making a decission

Go Bulls

This kid can't start at FSU but you think he'll start at Auburn?

L O L

To be fair, he DID just spend his entire time at FSU backing up a first-round draft pick, the 16th overall.

From this posting it does not appear Clint Trickett will be a starting QB at Auburn..

No other late news I can find...

Former #FSU QB Clint Trickett visiting #Auburn today, sources confirm  @Rivals

I thought he was visiting USF before them.

No updates from anyone about USF's visit?

GaUSFBull, everyone was completely shocked by that pick. Geno and Nassib should have went far before him

Visitor on USF campus, very quietly avoiding the hoopla. But my caddy at the public links told me not to expect an announcement right away. Have pic, won't upload

Thanks, Bulls, for the updates!

Okay, here's how I see it:

Three schools are in play, as he's probably got to make a decision within the next seven days, if not sooner.

The mountain team: if something jumped out, he would have not taken any other visits and committed.

Auburn: Same thing as the mountain team.

He came to USF third and last. Cool.

I think getting along with the coaches and the players and being the guy that takes charge is what matters most to him, with the greatest emphasis on the last part, I feel. Otherwise, I think he would have chosen to stay at FSU or committed to either of the other two teams. He's about to get his degree and he wants to be THE QB, not slug it out for playing time.

To this end, I think USF has to be the place. I give this as a 75% chance that he's going to be a Bull.

There's so much enthusiasm at USF football headquarters now, and this has got to impress him.

Lock it up, Bulls! :iconic_u_black:

I give this a 75%
