Given the Big East's reluctance so far with adding new teams and that nonsence that Rutgers pulled on us this season was considering thoughts about possible future opponents.  My preferences:

1.  UCF (close and good to beat them down on regular basis)

2.  Georgia Tech

3.  Tulane

4.  East Carolina

5.  Duke

6.  Florida (I know they are scheduled but I say we drop them until they agree to home and home, no way at this stage should we be agreeing to go there twice with no return.  Might have needed that before but believe we are past that now.  Come here or forget it.)

7. Ole Miss

8. Army (brings out the crowds and the atmosphere at West Point is amazing)

9. South Carolina

Or get some more teams in Big East to make our scheduling easier and stop that talk of the Big Ten trying to take any of our teams.  We cannot afford another raid on the conference.

If Butgers or Pitt or Cuse ends up in the Big 10, resulting in "devastation" of the Big East per speculation again today on ESPN's College Football Live, we may end up scrambling again like this year and end up with 1aas filling the schedule. As pointed out, a Big 10 expansion with resulting championship game brings in millions more in revenue at a time when schools are scrambling to save and make money (as pointed out that CFB programs don't even spend money now on printing media guides), along with BB revenue if Pitt or Syracuse joins them.

Middle Tennessee State, but only because I now live in Murfreesboro.  Vanderbilt would be cool too.

It would be nice to get revenge for that 2000 game against MTSU!

Revenge would be sweet.  They treated us bad when we were there.
