Yea, depth is never a bad thing to have, but after watching the UCF-Miami game last season, I was def unimpressed

You people are nuts.

First, it took Marve 2 suspensions to actually get Harris in as fulltime starter

Second, he was behind a line that wasn't much older than him.

Third his head coach had  it out for him. The restrictions on his transfer made that quite obvious.

Fourth, he broke a lot  the records og a cwrtain QB playing in Gainesville now.

Finally, he's got a lot more natural QB talent than Daniels (who wasn't recruited by everyone to play QB)

CJL would welcome this kid with open arms.

Joe

First off while it may have taken suspensions to get harris as a fulltime starter. By the end of the year UM fans would tell you that Harris had passed Marve. Eventhough Harris was a true freshmen and Marve was aRS one.

Final stats

Marve 213 passes 116 completes 1293 yds 55% completions 9 tds and 13 ints

Harris 194 passes 118 completes 1195 yds  61% completions 12 tds 7 ints.

and who can forget Marve's stats vs our old friends UCF 19 attempts 8 completions 74 yds 1 TD and 3 Ints

Leavitt and staff don't seem to be interested. They've seen more of Landi & Daniels ...

Marve has not impressed many, on or off the field.

JPP cannot go to FSU or any other ACC school or SEC school.  He hasn't been in Junior College long enough.

It's between us, Nebraska, and Kansas State.

Can you confirm this? Link maybe?

A nonqualifier who transfers to a conference institution from a two-year college must

have graduated with an AA degree, satisfactorily completed a minimum of 48 semester or

72 quarter hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on transferable degree credit acceptable

toward any baccalaureate degree program at the certifying institution, and have attended

the two-year college as a full-time student for at least three semesters or four quarters

(excluding summer terms) in order to be eligible for competition, practice, and

athletically related financial aid.

LINK

JPP hasn't been at Fort Scott long enough because he transferred there from College of the Desert or something like that. He would have to spend another semester or two there before transferring to FSU

You are correct all SEC and ACC teams are out of the picture because of that rule.

If JPP wanted to go to FSU then he basically screwed himself.  He was at College of the Canyons.  COD is where Savala played.

I would say that USF has as a better than 50% shot of getting him.  You never know though cuz he's sitting on a Nebraska offer.

You're right, he did go to College of the Canyons, not Desert. I hadn't looked recently, but the point is, he was somewhere else and transferred to Fort Scott, so he basically screwed himself there

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
