Who didn't see that one coming?   ;D

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse coach Greg Robinson was fired Sunday with the Orange nearing the end of a fourth straight dismal season under his leadership.

Robinson will coach the final two games of this season. He is 9-35 in three-plus seasons at Syracuse and 3-23 in the Big East. He has another year left on a contract that paid him $1.1 million per season.

at Syracuse.

That's because they can't believe he lost to us after the way we've been playing.

I'm sure he has the cojones to fire Leavitt after a period in which he goes 9-35.

Not after he gets the team its first ever ranking and three consecutive bowls.

I'm sure Mr. Woolard will raise expectations like anyone else, but to compare to Robinson at Syracuse is goofy at best.

too bad Woolard doesn't have the cojones to do the same to Leavitt.

Very unfair to compare the 2. We're having a bad season, but it is nowhere what Syracuse has gone through under Robinson.

It's easy for Syracuse to pull the plug now with Robinson having 1 year left on his deal. We're not in a financial position to buy out Coach Leavitt for 1 bad year.

Brad... for the last time will you stop bringing logic and commen sense to the table???

The stupid statements are much more fun to laugh at.

Its not about him not having the balls. A lot of it is the issue of the $8 million dollars that he would be owed if we were to fire him after this season.
