i agree.  they screwed our receivers on their speed ratings.  we have a team of bonafide Florida track stars and they have speed ratings of 86.

that said, i still don't ever tweak skill ratings.  i take what the game gives me and work with it. 

the only thing i do change occasionally is bio, equipment and appearance.

for example, i made Padilla black and changed his number to 39--- voila, Richard Kelly.  lol.

Yeah when I used to play NCAA I liked to start with a real crappy team and then work my way up and hopefully get hired by USF... used to play in a madden league for money with my friends...

Unfortunately, I think they go by the stats of our receivers...and since we spread the ball around, none of our receivers really have great stats. The last one to get significant numbers was Rubin...Whitaker had some.
