They give NC games to one loss teams too...

not last year

Right. Last year they gave it to a 2 loss team. Unfortunaltely we don't play in the mighty SEC   ::)

With the way the Big East looks this year, we have the perfect opportunity to step up and do exactly what Miami and FSU did in the late '80s thru early 2000's. They ran roughshod through the BE and ACC for years and you never heard a word about how it was because they played in a "weak" conference.

this is true, but you said it yourself...in these days of the 'mighty SEC' even the best team out of the weak little Big East doesn't stand a chance against the big boys  ::)

The pops said the same thing last night, but the truth is if we win all our games except this one ( which i hope we win) we will be ranked. It will be hard for us not to be if we went 11-1.

You know we don't have to be ranked to win the Big East, dont you?

Unless we're talking about a national championship or BCS at-large bid, tonight, in the overall scope of things, doesnt really matter.

For now.  Another bad showing and they are gone along with Pat White's Heisman hopes.
