is critical.  A loss to the last Top 25 team we might play drops us out of the Top 25.  With no other team in the Big East ranked, it would be hard to play our way back in.  We could still win the Big East and go to a BCS game unranked, but we could go into that game representing a league that is a laughing stock (RU looked horrible last night).  Maybe West Virginia will get it together and Cinci and Pitt will turn things around. 

Only way we would get national attention is to win EVERY other game on the schedule.

You know we don't have to be ranked to win the Big East, dont you?

Unless we're talking about a national championship or BCS at-large bid, tonight, in the overall scope of things, doesnt really matter.

FYI... if we won the big east, we'd be ranked... regardless of whether other teams in our conference suck... we'd just have no title game at stake and deservedly so.  But regardless... beat Kansas and make the country notice that the Big east does have at least one good team this season.

You know what, tonight, I am going back to not caring about rank.

We are Bulls fans. While rank is nice, what really matters is we go out there and support our team, and that they give it everything they have.

Win, lose, ranked first, ranked dead last: I will behave in exactly the same ridiculous manner. GO BULLS!

They give NC games to one loss teams too...

not last year
