UCF: Only 4,000 tickets for USF -- none to public

According to Greg:

UCF sent out a release Monday, stating that single-game tickets for the USF-UCF game would not be available to the general public, so the only current way to get tickets for the game is buying purchasing UCF season tickets, which start at $210 for six games. UCF associate athletic director Joe Hornstein said UCF season-ticket holders will be allowed to purchase additional tickets, likely sometime next month, but only season-ticket holders would have access to those tickets. Hornstein said there were no plans in place to sell the USF-UCF game as part of a smaller mini-plan package.

That makes USF's allotment for the game, believed to be 4,000 tickets, the simplest option for Bulls fans, and USF plans to start selling away-game tickets later this week. It's unknown whether UCF would grant USF an additional allotment if the first batch sells out, but UCF is as close a road game as the Bulls will ever play.

Guess most people here won't be going to UCF, then.

Factor some number (500?) for students and another number (300?) for HOT -- and you're looking at jsut over 3,000 for other fans...

That means about 750-800 accounts will be able to buy their four tickets each...

I'll watch it from my favorite away game location, the couch.  50" Sony TV, and a cold beer....

Seriously though if there is a great watch party somewhere (ie Capognas) will probably watch it from there. 

No way scalped tickets will be available.  Maybe stub  hub.

The 3000 remaiining seats will be for green jacket only and will go quickly. 

I am going to save the $50 in gas and $35 or so per ticket, and ensure I eat and drink like a king while I watch USF complete the 4 game series with a convincing win....  To make it more fun, I am going to buy some legos or an erector set and make up a mock (though realistic) BHNS on my coffee table.  The model probably wont sway as much......

I think the contrct for UF gives us 5000.

However, 90,000 seats is a lot more supply than 42000

4,000 would still be pretty close to what the Kaniggits brought over to Tampa last year, when they could have theoretically bought as many tickets as they wanted.
