BM Story makes National Media

The Ben Moffit story has made the National Media, on the Dan Patrick show this morning he mentioned the story and had a couple of zingers to make fun of the story.  The story also made it in the NY Times, College Football Roundup Column.

This reminds me of when a local reporter erroneously reported that USF had offered the MBB coaching job to the guy from Winthrop when in fact they had not offered the job to anyone.  Once the locals write up stuff, the major outlets just repeat it assuming credibility, vetting and research is in place.  It was fun, but gruesome, to see all the national outlets cover the USF coaching search wrong only because they followed the lead of one reporter who in hindsight with his faulty reporting hindered the Bulls in hiring a HC.
