OK enough sniveling.  We took one right in the balls yesterday, and it hurt like a motherf&cker.  We still had an amazing season for such a young program, and we need to remember that.  Remember that Michigan started the season with a loss to Appalachian State, which was WAY more embarrasing than our beat down by the Quack Attack. They also lost to their arch rival Ohio State.  But instead of hanging their heads in despair and giving up they came back and finished 3rd in the Big Ten.  That's how a champion handles defeat.

It's time to focus on winning the Big East next season.

The problem is there is no next game in which to vindicate ourselves.  No biggie -- big picture we did better than I expected.  Proud of this program.

To each his own.

Some will choose to focus on the high points of the season, and others will look at the three crappy losses in the middle of the season and this TRAVESTY to close out the season.

Good season, good team.

Then again, if 9-4 is your definition of "great," there you go.

Either way, EVERYONE is entitled to their OPINION.

As much at this loss sucks I can't imagine how a loss to app state must have been for Michigan fans.

I am ready to move on it sucked big time to lose like that but its a bowl game that non usf fans will forget about.  

One loss never made or broke a program the season will start in 8 months and this loss will be a distant memory.

Lets get some good recruits on signing day have a good spring practice and start it again in the summer, I'll see you at ray jay in aug.

9-4 does not meat my expectations for the season.

if we go 9-4 (4-3) next year we will end up eating Pizza again.

this team needs to take the next step... 10 wins, a better than 4th place showing in the Big East (AT LEAST 5-2).

a young program like this needs to keep moving forward.  lateral movement from here will not make USF a national program.

I agree we need a 10 win season and a 1st place finish next year, but our record (because of who we beat), gaining a number 2 ranking and playing in a good Bowl ( our conference #2 bowl) was an improvement this year over last.  How was it a lateral movement?  Next year is a differnet team against different opponents with different expectations.

How can you be thinking we'll go backward next year when we don't even know who we will sign?
