A team source said Magee and Gibson will join Rodriguez's staff in Ann Arbor, Mich., where Rodriguez was introduced this morning at a press conference. The source said Rodriguez is also interested in retaining defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Jeff Casteel, safeties coach Bruce Tall, associate head coach/special teams coordinator/tight ends coach Bill Stewart and strength and conditioning coordinator Mike Barwis.

isnt Terry Bowden rumored to be taking over up there?

he would probably keep Smith on staff atleast for 1 year since Bowden has been out of coaching for so long he wont have enough contacts to fill a whole staff right away

Rich Rod can't get rid of any coordinators or assistants till after next years season. Lloyd Carr made the University give them 1 year contract extensions after he left to guarantee a job for them. That is extremely respectable in my opinion.
