  WVU, Rutgers and the rest of the Big East teams ooc was a complete joke!

I think that's the next two milestones in terms of rankings...  Finishing a season ranked and entering a season ranked.

Pittsburgh went to Michigan State and Virginia and they played a good Navy team at home.  West Virginia beat an SEC and an ACC team out of conference.  Cincy beat a good PAC Ten team. UCONN lost by 1 point to a Virginia team out of conference that was one win away from playing in the ACC Championship game.  If the Big East goes undefeated in the Bowl games the out of conference record for the 5 bowl teams will be 28 and 2.  I would say that is pretty respectable. 

I wouldn't be over critical of the teams in your own conference.

Every single step in the path of this program we've had some people who didn't believe we were worth a crap telling us how we were not worthy of things.

Then we would beat their team and they would shut the hell up. But along came the next notch in the belt and we were back to hearing about our lack of this or that.

It's a broken record. And it won't stop until USF has not just one NC-- but several. Some fans of other programs laugh at even some of the Big Three because they only have two NCs to speak of (not so much Miami-- they are laughing at them for an entirely different reason now). Fans from Oklahoma or Michigan or Alabama always point to their multiple NCs (phantom or real) and act as if this state is not worthy of their rich history.

Well-- I'm not saying we are close to the Big Three in that regard-- but it takes a buttload of accomplishments before some people take their heads out of their own asses. We will earn that respect-- one game at a time.
