I'm basically looking at these four (one of which I think is a long shot, but...).

I was just curious - given that we all say "Oh yeah, I'm there!", really, which

bowl game would you NOT go to - for whatever reason,

too close to a holiday, too far to travel, not interested in the competition..

Rather than which bowl do we reallly wanna go to...in which bowl do we

really not have an interest. I know, I know...we're s'posed to say that

we're there no matter where, but we've all seen the road contingent.

Whaddya think?

lol.  no contest with this one.

as **** as playing another C-DOA bottomfeeder in the PizzaBowl would be, i'd rather not spend a cold winter weekend in Toronto--- if i could even afford it, or get my passport in time.

Birmingham and Charlotte are both well within driving distance, and i don't have a problem with either location. Birmingham last year was fine with me, just didn't have much of an interest in the opponent.  Charlotte isn't a bad city either.

El Paso is out of driving distance, but i love Texas (mmm... Mexican women) and won't be as cold or as much of a hassle as Toronto.

my list, in order of preference:

Meineke

Sun

Pizza

Canada Bowl

What's the matter? You don't to play in the Socialist Bowl?

The only thing that would keep me away is if it were played in a Turkish Prison.

Had too many bowl seasons of going and watching other peoples schools play because we did not have a team.

if socialized Canadian healthcare were part of the deal, i'd gladly make the bowl trip.

;D

actually, i plan on following the Bulls wherever they play.  i would just rather not break the bank on airfare and passports for me and the g/f, on top of the lodging and other basic travel expenses, just to spend a weekend in cold ass Canada.

Charlotte, Birmingham or El Paso would be far cheaper and far warmer.

I personally would love to go to Toronto.  It's probably the cheapest time of year to go there plus there is a Maple Leafs game that night so we can see some crazy Canadian hockey fans (that's not a knock against the Lightning, whom I cheer for, but it would be something fun and different).  Plus, I have only heard great things about the city and its people.

I would not go to toronto because:

1. Its January in Toronto

2. Its freezing in January

  3. Thats a long drive to freeze my butt off

Better start saving up. The Maple Leafs have the most expensive tickets in the NHL. (I was up there one time when the Lightning were in town - I paid dearly to see that game.)

The only bowl I could probably make it to is the Sun Bowl. I'm already flying back to Florida for Christmas and I wouldn't be able to afford much more than that. But Dallas to El Paso is cheap and easy.

I love how you can select more than one bowl you don't want to go to. :P

Also, if we go to Toronto, only a pep band will go from the HOT.
