The reason this deal was struck (each bowl picks 2 from each conference over 4 year period) was because the Gator Bowl thought the BEast was going to have teams that suck in the number 2 and 3 spots.  Since that is not what is reality, I wonder if the bowls and the conferences could get together and amend their agreement so the Gator can choose a BEast team more often.
