Probably won't be ranked this week, but at least we should get more votes than Auburn this time.Sorry for the AU fans, I think Tubby has lost his edge. Early in the game you go to your back-up, then you bring Cox back in later???? They need to get something going on offense or they are going to have a long season. Everyone will assume they are terrible because MSU is supposed to be terrible too.

They should have won""Mississippi State is an SEC school, so they aren't really an underdog.
USF Colby Posted September 16, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 695 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 08/16/2007 Share Posted September 16, 2007 Auburn lost at home to Mississippi State who is the worst team in the SEC, or at least they were. Add in Auburn barely getting by Kansas State in the first week and all of a sudden USF's victory over Auburn does not look all that great. Brandon Cox has looked terrible all season long and got worse today throwing 2 interceptions and only throwing for 42 yards. Kodi Burns had a huge game but he didn't even play in the game against USF, if he had USF may not have even been close.I am sorry to be overly negative like this, but all of a sudden out defense doesn't look so good at holding Auburn to only 23 points, because Mississippi State held them to just 14. Plus the Bulldogs won by 5 points, USF only won by 3 points and needed overtime. To get technical though, Auburn easily could have kicked a field goal on their final possesion and if they did the Bulldogs would have only won by 2 but the scary thing is that USF might not be better than Mississippi State.Still, theres a chance that Auburn was still laboring from last weeks emotional defeat and hopefully they will rebound and play strongly the rest of the season so that this remains a quality win for USF.
