I'll confirm that we are already selling upper level tickets for WVU.  You can order them through ticketmaster or 1-800-GoBulls.

Eric

Literally?

Any figures?

Well that answers the original question.

Good grief we sold upper deck tixs in 2005 for UCF, FAMU, and WVU with almost 2000 less season tickets at the time and less hype and interest.

I completely believe that UCF and WVU are probably virtual locks for major upper deck business.  I also believe, and this depends on the status of each program at the time fo the game, but if the UL game is coming down and we're both in contention to win the BE and we've clinched a bowl and we're both ranked....that game could surpass our all-time attendance mark!

In a word...........no.

:nope

Other than being a pessimist and contrarian, can you specify your reason why you think it won't be open? If I recall it was open for ucIf in 2005. we now have more season ticket holders, so why wouldn't the upper bowl be open for at least that game?  ???

Other than being a contrarian, can you specify your reason for wanting me to specify my reason when this entire thread was started to ask a simple yes/no question?   ::)

I don't think it will.  Period.

Just a guess.  Very much like your guess that it will.

[glow=red,2,300]And hey.....I hope you are right!![/glow]

Do you?

No....of course I don't.

That would mean all sorts of horrible things like increased interest in the program, more potential seaosn ticket holders, more of a home field advantage, and increased revenue.

You called my bluff, SeaBull.

You're just too smart.   ::)

:nope

I knew it...know how I knew? Your 1500+ posts gave it away

(Bill Lumbergh Voice) "Ooooooooooh, yeeeeeeah, uhhhhhhhhhhh........"

My 1500+ posts that don't automatically agree with everything every Bulls fan on here posts?  Those 1500 posts?

Yep, you've got me pegged.  I'm an independent thinker who doesn't tow the "party line," thus, I obviously hate USF and want all things associated therewith to fail miserably.

You, sir, are brilliant!!  :Flossing :pick

Not very much like his guess ... His is an educated guess.

Wow, looks like we are really going to have a home field advantage this year not to mention we won't see as many bright red seats on TV!

Let's hope so.  WVU has already blown through their alotment of tickets and requested more, allowing us to open the upper deck for that game.  It looks like the Mountaneer fans want to come and try and get some revenge.

What was the original allotment?

It will be fun watching all those Eers fans walking out with frowns.  :)
