No! Sorry, no to the Rice statments. I was talking about Leavitt's discipline.

Julmiste was good, but Simeon Rice is another level sorry for the confusion.

I was going to say, sorry for confusing.

The thing about Josh is like many coaches say, 'he may have good talent but it's hard for me to covet what I cannot have...'  Josh was talented but he saw the field so little because of so many issues that it will be hard to miss him.

Not even close to Simeon Rice.  Do some research before you go comparing a decent player to a dominant player.............

I agree with you guys who say this hurts only in the sense that he had talent & potential.

Julmiste should have been much more of a force than he ever actually was.  Didn't seem to be a terribly hard worker.

Give me a George Selvie any day over Josh Julmiste!

I feel for his family that probably had some high hopes for him.  But sometimes a person like that has to hit rock bottom before they look up.  Tough lesson to learn in the game of life.

This hurts.

Not only the team this season, but potential for the future.  Isn't there another Julmiste brother looking at USF in a year or two?

I sure wish Josh had the same determination that Pat showed.

I wish he showed the same character the pat showed!

he did not follow his brothers lead!

He was no Rice, but there is no question that with hard work he was an NFL type talent.

Are you kidding, this kid has size and speed.  He's only played for 1/2 of his sophomore year.  If he had the gumption to stick it out, he would have been a monster!

As far as kicking him off the team, I think it was better now than later.  We can get the new guys more reps and if he was a bad influence (how could you not be considered a bad influence) he's not there anymore.

As far as the Clown College of greater Tallahassee, I seem to remember a Polish Placekickera few years back consistently breaking the rules and getting in trouble and never reaping any consequences.  Or what about the QB that lit off explosives in his toilet and didn't get kicked off?  Then there was the Free Shoes U scandal with Pete Warrick, he didn't get in any real trouble.
