Wow.  Open up the window and look outside, Mr. Little, the sky is not falling....

Nahhhhh, nepotism has never been an issue in the work place.  ::)  To me it seems odd that Grants "Daddy" is on the coaching staff.  This comes from an engineer that had to train the bosses son-in-law AutoCAD and deal with his whiny "I'm over stressed 24/7" company secretary daughter and the querky spoiled son that has his own company given to him by "Daddy".  Maybe the picture is a bit clearer for you now T'jo.

sexton's dad was at FSU when he was in the running for QB.  most coaches are professional and Leavitt has the final say anyway.  don't worry.

i think he will do a good job.

i hope we won't have a "voodoo 5" play on the 2yd line when you have Hall...opps Ford in the game!

i hope we see few QB runs

i hope we see ford and plancher pounding and slashing into the record books.

i hope to see a consistant offense that can give the defense 28+ points per game.

and controls field position.

Grant will get experience in mop up duty against:

Elon, UCF, Auburn, UNC, FAU, U of L, Rutgers, WVU, Syracuse, Cincy, and UCONN.

The PITT game won't be decided until we score 21 unanswered in the 4th Quarter and Leavitt will just leave Grothe in to take the knee.   ;) ;)

No chance Grant sees the field unless something happens to Matt.

Trick play?  Change of positions?  Be more creative.

perhaps.  I am excited about having a backup that might be good and being able to redshirt Voss.  I think Matt Grothe is a trick play all by himself, though  ;)

You guys are awfully optimistic.

People on my end of things are making comments like "Eh, they could have been contenders" and "They're partying in Louisville and Morgantown tonight." And that's from guys who **played** for Gregory.

Direct quote from our starting fullback during Gregory's tenure:

that said, gregory definitely needed to go. i remember the buffalo game at buffalo (where we got pummeled) and their linebackers calling our exact plays and pointing out where we were going. there's nothing like running mid-line option as a fullback when the defense knows where you're going.

I know really nothing about the guy other than the fact that he does know the Wing T. The Spread Option uses a lot of principles of the Wing T so Ithink we'll see a lot of what we saw this year, including QB Draws(which I don't believe were aweful).

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
