Just looked to see how Coach Gregory's record as OC stacks up.  This information is derived from CFB Data Warehouse.  He coached against teams that were much beter than his (Ohio v Florida) and some that weren't as good.  BUt his overall record at each school as OC:

Richmond 27 pts per game

Ohio 24 pts per game overall 31 pts in conference

Army 24.5 pts per game including Army's only bowl in last 20 years

Missouri Southern - First Head coach, 24 pts per game.

Remarkably consistent, his record indicates that he favored the running game (60%) but that may have been inflenced by his talent level.  Overall he has gotten good results, its hould be interesting to see how he adjusts to being the OC in a BCS conference.

ahhh, nice research.  I feel a lot better already.  scoring 25 points a game at any level is a good record, especially when he's done it at 4 different schools.  I wonder why he ended up as a tight end coach here?

I believe the tight end coach spot was just a place to put him until now.

I'm beginning to think Coach Greg Gregory is backup QB Grant Gregory's father.  Grant played football in OH in HS and Gregory was a coach at Ohio U.  And Grant's bio mentioned his father coached at Army.  Can someone confirm this?

Is it just me or does this situation have a conflict of interest?  Don't ya think Coach Gregory may be a bit quick to pull Grothe if he seems to be struggling and replace him with Grant?

Wow.  Open up the window and look outside, Mr. Little, the sky is not falling....
