What a year for the Big East!

4 months ago they were saying take away automatic BCS bid

Now? Arguably #2 conference in the country.

Not just a statement, a HUGE statement...and Im proud that USF could be a part of that.

Next year looking even better

I'll take it though but lets not go crazy with the "dominance of the Big East" stuff. We didn't play elite (ranking wise) teams and while we took care of business, we need to just keep getting better and not stop to beat our proverbial chests. I still do not see the Big East as the #1 conference in the nation. It is competitive, getting better, and has alot of potential. But like USF football-- we have a ways to go.

Also-- that International Bowl looked kind of fun. A true vacation for USF fans to a winter climate and with the hotel attached to the field like that-- hell-- it could be a real blast. I'm just saying it is a bowl game that is not as bad as I thought it would be.

I agree, Mike.

Then again...I got to sit in front of the tube and take in the bowl game,

I didn't actually have to travel to Canada to take it in. Probably one thing

to enjoy a BE win, quite another to pack the bags and head up that way.

It will be interesting to see what the ratings are for this.

Bottom Line: 5-0 is pretty good. Not sure the last time that happened in

BCS land.

I bet that hotel would be near impossible to get for the game. I agree that it looked like a fun time there.

I don't think there is an ACTUAL cup. But, I could be wrong.

It was an interesting game.  I wasn't sure who to pull for.  It's nice that the Big East won all their bowl games, but ultimately we willl have to stand on our own merits.  Hey, wouldn't a stadium like that look good on campus?? ;)

I don't think there is an ACTUAL cup. But, I could be wrong.

Im pretty sure tthere is one i saw it during another bowl game.

I don't know how large the hotel attached to the stadium is exactly but my guess is that it is HUGE.
