(i know about perception, but lets talk numbers)?bulls96go,We know the final bowl record, but why don't you tell give us how we compare to other BCS conferences in the other 3 categories you mentioned?  You should probably throw in the winning percentage of our OOC teams, to help prove your point. It's as dumb as talking about how Boise State should get a shot at the NC THIS YEAR. agghh-- screw it. I'll just ignore you instead.

I think those conferences have more bad teams, though. Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, Michigan State, and Illinois all finished under .500. Vandy, bama, ole miss, and miss state did as well. Those 2 both have a higher percentage of teams under .500 teams than the Big East.If you want to just argue cream of the crop, then fine, call those 2 conferences better. But who else is? We had favorable matchups in EVERY bowl game. as I have said-- the whole thing is highly subjective. If you want to go around touting the Big East as the next greatest thing to college football--- go for it. I'll stick with the reality of the situation which is simply this. We had a nice year in the Big East. One might say two years in a row. Does that make us better than the others who go through various cycles and often beat each other up? I don't see it that way. Yeah-- they have some bad teams but that is pretty natural to ANY type of conference setup-- right down through to the Pee Wee leagues. I'll just let you go on your crusade and wish you well. GOod luck stormin' the castle, hope you find that grail

I'm not sure why you are opposed to doing that.
