Just got word ... USF broke the regular season attendance record. Tonight's crowd is 2,106. 43 more than the previous record.

wow... thats exactly how many where in the band... interesting...

BTW... like I have stated to a great many people on this board... USF is NOT a dry campus.  The Sun Dome sells beer, the Soccer Stadium sells beer, baseball, The Claw, and the new Marshall Center will have a Chili's that... well... sells beer.

So... do you think they might sell beer at an on campus football stadium?

I think so, how about you!

It really depends on when an OCS actually becomes reality. Who knows what conference we will be in then and if that conference has alcohol related rules (like the SEC does for example).

That's awesome.  I guess the OCS would have it all, and no reason to complain.  I wouldn't mind if we just made something small (but nice), with room for expansion.  Most stadiums expand over a given time when the program grows.  Bigger isn't always better.  Look at the MLB parks in SF and Pittsburgh.  Both are relatively small parks, but are very intimate.  I'd love something like that at USF, for the time being, with capabilities of expanding.

we already have crazy parking problems on that side of campus...what would that do taking away sun dome parking? There's space behind greek housing but they'd have to cut down a bunch of trees....who knows....

Doesn't USF own all that land next to Riverfront park? Are those wetlands? Seems like it's a great place to put a stadium.
