Please guys, I know how much we love Grothe, and when he went down tonight and Pat was put in, I heard many people were booing him. I dont know about anyone else, but nothing gets my confidence up then my home crowd booing me coming into a game. I think Pat deserves more respect than that and I hope some people point this out to the ones who did boo him.

That annoyed me too.  What if Grothe really was hurt to the point of not playing for a few weeks, do people WANT pat to do badly?  Ridiculous.

Booing an individual play or playcall I could understand.  Tough love or whatever.  Booing a player who is forced in due to injury?  No thanks.

I do wish we put someone else in for garbage time.  PJ is going to graduate, and he has plenty of experience in real games already.  We need to build up the newer guys at the end, perhaps gregory or even severino.  PJ is our backup this year already.  We need to groom one for future years.

Did they really boo him when he came in?  That's complete BS.  Geez, this is a freaking college game.  Pat's been a standup guy and been a leader on this team for a long time.

i wish julmiste had driven the field...he hasnt gotten a shot this year.  still would have wanted grothe back in ASAP of course, but still.  boos uncalled for

It was ridiculous.  As soon as I heard the boos I yelledas loud as I could to shut the Hell up.  Its ridiculous.  I never boo my team.  Pat busted his ass every time he was on the field for this university.

I was in the students section and got a lot of people to stop boing.  I bet these kids would eat their young if they had the chance.

Ok I will just sob to myself quietly if he gets in again. Why put him in? His career here is over, let Gregory get some snaps to prepare for his future if MG goes down. Putting PJ in there is just a waste.

I almost forgot how that feeling of dread washes over me when he is behind center. After last night I will always remember.
