Who's coming with me.  Doesn't this game get you pumped up like it does me.  What a joke Woolard and Leavitt.  The funny thing is that ol Jimbo most definitely knew this when he had his press conference on Tuesday.

I thought Leavitt wants that game for National TV Coverage on ABC?

That way...it won't matter if USF fans go to the game or not...as they can be able to watch it from anywhere in the country.

KL

PS. Good luck getting through to your AD. I looks like Leavitt has officially brain-washed him.

It's hilarious watching you guys overreact to what was in the paper. Nowhere in that article does it mention that there is any deal that is signed. We are probably just talking with those teams, but that doesn't mean we're going to play them.

Not surprising that UCF fan has to comment on our schedule.

Lessor to be learned here. Just because the  media reports it, it  does not always have to be true. If USF was talking to those schools you can bet that it was for either a 1 home game or 2 for 1 deal with those schools. UCF wont give USF a 2 for 1. USF is busy scheduling 1for1 deals against BCS schools like NC ST, and schools from the BIG TEN. We have Kansas coming to RJS. Those BCS schools are more appealing to USF if you ask me. Mike T wants the BIG EAST to schedule 1for1s against BCS schools as he has stated before.

You sound like Leavitt-lite.

More appealing than UCF?

Remember last year?

UCF at USF: 45,100 plus in attendance

# 9 Louisville at USF: 32,000 plus announced (29,567 actual per Tampa Tribune...see below)

Are you saying USF fans will be more excited to see KANSAS play than #9 Louisville?

Are you saying USF fans will be more excited to see NC State play than #9 Louisville?

Since USF had a MUCH bigger crowd for the UCF Game...sure seems like that game was more appealing compared to all of the above.

But...if you think playing Kansas is better...and more appealing...good for you.

TAMPA - The University of South Florida's first Big East win has been marred by post-game confrontations between security and fans involving at least one spectator whom police zapped with a Taser.

In front of 29,567 people at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, USF beat the No. 9 University of Louisville, 45-14, in USF's first victory against an opponent ranked by The Associated Press....

KL,

It's a one-way street.  What have we sold in terms of tickets to UCF Saturday?  A couple thousand - not counting student give-aways?  It's clear that UCF is no greater a draw to USF fans than any other school (within 98 or 980 miles).  Therefore, pursuing other schools and more lucrative deals should be an option.  UCF needs the game, USF does not.

Leave the emotion out of it and look at the numbers.  These programs have different needs right now and playing into UCF's goal of a rivalry is not necessarily in our best interest.  We need to continue the direction we have taken under DW and that is scheduling to the needs of OUR program.
