Any word on Ponton's suspension. Walkons and true freshman are nice...................................for teams like McNeese State.

What about Denson at running back.  It is such a waste of a great athletet using him at corner.  He has decent size and should know the offense.

b/c we don't need to injure our only backup QB with significant experience....we have enough backs to play...this really sucks though

We need ponton back.  That being said, I would go with Walt Smith and Dorsey against FIU.  Ben Williams can be a change of pace, and Erskin can bring them all water.

Seriously though Dorsey sounds like a beast.  Wish I could see a tape of his run, I had to listen to the game online

man...that is a shame about plancher.  he looked real good before he got hurt.  Ponton is probably out 6 games.  he can appeal the suspension and get it down to 2 games possibly.

I thought all 3 looked good.  Walt Smith, Ben Williams and Keeley Dorsey.  Might not have as much to worry about as you think.  Especially if Ponton's suspension is only 2 games.  Gives us 4 quality backs.
