FIU AD wants UCF

Unless we start cancelling games, we have a full slate of I-A schools in 07 and 09.

I believe it was in Greg's Blog a couple of weeks back that it stated UCF in fact had an open date in 2007. I think that came from a Sentinel article that had erroneously mentioned UCF played @ Pitt in 2007.

Maybe.  I could be wrong.  In that case, it opens the door for a 2 year continuation of our series and helps USF fill their CUSA requirements, which would still give us 4 I-A OOC games.

Also, USFan, we don't go around talking about how SoS is so good cause well, it isn't cause of the Rices and Tulanes, but the Southern Misses and Floridas help.

Well, since we FINALLY finished up the schedules that were heavily booked during the independent days, there will be some stability.  This year, we helped Pitt by moving an 08 game up to this year and MTSU bought out their return trip to UCF.  ESPN also bought out the Tennessee game in 07 to make room for Texas.

I do not want a 1-1 with FIU or FAU.

A 2-1 is acceptable.  I would rather have a 2-1 with FIU/FAU than a 3-0 with Villanova or Samford.
