So i post same picture on the Big east website and a few hours later guess who comes around posting? Our old friend Sir Galahad/STK saying we only have 10% funding. I guess UCF has 100% funding for all their additions.

He was on a Big East board just to crap on us?? That has got to be one of the most pathetic human beings I've ever run across ...    :-/

Glad to see that the tennis courts will be one long set of bleachers that allows a vew of all courts instead of the the proposed one stadium court with additional side courts shown on earlier diagrams of the athletics district.  Overall I think the District will be sweet once everything is finished.

According to a reliable source $23.79 million is funded toward a total goal of roughly $62 million, or 38% funded.  STK goes down again.

Remember that "Place holder" for an OCS on the master plan that was posted on here before? Well it’s not there.

So now we can put that place holder to rest.

Actually, no you can't.  This is an artist's rendering of the planned renovations and expansions.  Since the football stadium is not currently "planned"... it was not included.

The Board of Trustees adopted the campus master plan that included the place holder.  Therefore, it does officially exist.

That could definitely be a possibility as GunnAllen is a major suporter of USF athletics with Gunn being an alum.  I have a friend who works at GunnAllen and will ask him to see if he has heard anthing of this sort.

Could be, I heard Coke is interested too, and there are on-going negotiations not just interest.  Jay Gunn is an alum and an avid supporter.  I could see them bidding for the rights, I've also heard the soccer stadium is viewed as attractive from that point of view too.  Potential for MLS exhibition games, regional and NCAA tourney's, and other attendance features, good for someone to get their name out there.

Like I said on another thread the money will be raised from donors and corporations.  I honestly believe from what I have heard that all the dollars will be in-place by the summer of next year and we will meet our deadline of 2009 or so to have it all built.
