A QB is our key for 2006 ... as in 2005   And we have a lot of unproven WRs also, but feel confident in them.

I really believe that we will do great next year.  I am psyched about Ponton.  He always had to run in Hall's shadow, but now he has the limelight.

We have some untried (largely) QB's who I believe will seriously be contending for the position.  I don't think next year's QB slot is being handed to one person, despite what some people think.  There should be a true contest for it.

Now if we come up with an aerial threat, our opponents will have to deal with a balanced team -- something we haven't had in a long time.  With the schedule coming up, we could really rock.  The possibility of being ranked in the top 25 is a reality.

I know that I am an optimist and get really excited about this team.  That doesn’t make me naïve.  Just easier to be around. ;D

This is the year that we make it to the Top 25. With the possibility of going 6-0 to start the season I don't see how we won't make the top 25.

Good news is...not many in the USA watched that humiliation (your term).

USF/NC State game was 27th rated Bowl Game out of 28 games.

Luckily, for USF/NC State...someone started the INAUGURAL SAN DIEGO COUNTY CREDIT UNION

POINSETTIA BOWL Game...which started at 10:30 pm EST...which got a lower TV rating than the Meineke Bowl Game.

PS. I wouldn't describe USF as being "humiliated"...in such much that this game didn't have much offense...good defense...and obviously lacked scoring on both sides..

More accurate term might of been boring...especially if one didn't have a dog in that fight.

Never say easy.  Conference football is never easy.  Remem the UCONN game.  It should have been a lock.  Ask Rutgers if playing USF at home is easy.  Anything can happen in conference football.

I hate smug UCF fans... I remember those days back in CUSA when we couldn't do anything becuase.... we were in CUSA.  Talk trash when you guys play someone worth talking about.  Just becuase you broke that horrible 17 games losing streak last year doesn't mean it isnt coming back this year!
