Maybe I put too much into this but it seems that the conferences usually try to end the season with the most significant conference match-ups.  If that's true, it's interesting that our last two games are Louisville and WV.  Is that a signal of some respect?

10-0 going into Louisville is possible if you fire Rod and bench PJ.

No, it’s really a blessing in disguise.  Honestly it would take a miracle for us to beat Louisville and WVU so you might as well play them in the crappy weather.  Playing one of these two in October and then Cincy in the snow (potentially) would be tougher.

Regardless of weather we will struggle on the road at L'ville and WVU.

We could be 12-0 going into the BCS game in January, which bowl game has last pick next yr, I think its the Rose but then again they take the PAC 10 and Big 10 game, so probably going to the Orange Bowl since they had the 2nd pick this yr I believe.

:D :D :D :D :D  I seriously hope that you are joking. Thanks for the comic relief.

The Big East hates us!! Just like last year they saw how the cold bit us in the A$$, so they repay us with WV and LVille at the end of Nov... I just wish it was UConn we were playing on the 30th instead of Rutgers when a heat wave comes in at 3 in the afternoon, other than that its a decent schedule...

That's a bit of a stretch to say the least. We're always going to have to deal with potential cold weather road games at the end of each season, with the exception of playing at Syracuse.

Pros:

I love that we play our toughest games at the end of the year. Barring injuries, we should be the most prepared to pla those games when they come.

Scheduling, sans another hurricane, do not leave a month + inbetween home games.

Cons:

I do not like seeing us play such a weak OOC schedule. Nice to see UNC in there but that is negated by McNese and FIU. I know teams like UF and Miami play cupcakes but I think thats just as silly.

i see six wins so barring a meltdown we should be bowl eligile this year.

if we take care of our biz we should be at 8 wins

great coaching will put us at 10 wins

predictions after spring game and a QB is crowned

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
