You don't accept bad losses with our football team, so why is it different with the bb team? Wasn't P. Julmiste playing hard too? It's not acceptable that he sucked, or that R. Smith sucked, so why is it okay for the BB team to suck?

Again, not comparing apples to oranges. PJ was our starting "point guard". If PJ, CH and AD had all not been available and Severino was starting, THEN your football comparison question would have been valid ...

Trip, as much as you are enjoying what you think is a 'bitchslapping', I believe it is reinforcing my point.

Minutes per game is useless garbage at this point in the season. You need to break it out into conference games. Big Hairy Bull**** is full of b.s. SU didn't play USF with the same minutes that it played against Villanova, Cincy etc. NO WAY.

Nothing personal but I got tired of the "other teams not giving their all" crap from the bitcher and moaners about our competitive games in BE play.

Apparently BHB and "guest" looked it up and it was true and they weren't just talking about the SU game ..... If you've got links to back up your claims, by all means. I'm just going by what they said they looked up.

The minutes per game argument is important but not the final argument.  The bottom line is that none of those teams would use their bench to the point of possibly sacrificing a W.  We were in all of those games and could have pulled it out with just a little bit of luck.  So to even argue that these teams weren't putting in their first stringers is ridiculous.  I don't understand the argument that some people are making for the fact that this team is competetive.  THIS TEAM IS COMPETETIVE - BOTTOM LINE.  Just be a Bulls fan and cheer them on.  Maybe we will win a couple of these close games - I am sure some people on here will find an excuse for that as well.  Really quite ridiculous I think.

I can't read that jibberish.

I've watched every SU game this yr, you are wrong buddy. They took it easy on USF, doesn't take avg b.s. per game to know that.

Now let's stop with the name calling herb. We're all USF grads here. You brought numbers, and as much as you like to rely on them, they are insignificant at this point. Let's revisit this at the end of the yr; when the avg's mean something...until then I am a stubborn SOB w/o any numerical facts to support my opinion.

I enjoyed this dialouge.

Have a nice day,

Rueben

Teams are laying down for us when we play them, and we still can't get it done. Georgetown is a good team who knew we are bad. Close losses are a sign of lack of respect.

really?

Rueben, don't waste your breath.  I went toe to toe with these people last year when they were telling me how improved we were going to be this year.  Well we're worse this year, in a year when we absolutely HAD to be better.  Now they're telling us wait till next year.  It's a neverending cycle.

These folks really don't care about basketball anyway.
