I heard we might get invited to the NFL. Both the Big 10 and NFL and equally as likely.

Why would a Big10 media talk with AAC member USF?

“We have FSU at home…”

Get that discount Florida access, bring it on!

For the record, there is no path for USF in the NFL, but plenty of feasible paths to the Big 10.

1. ACC GOR holds up in court. B1G wants in to Florida.

2. FSU to SEC. B1G wants into Florida. Determines USF at a discounted price is a better deal than Miami at full price.

3. FSU to SEC. B1G wants to have a major FL presence. Determines that they need 2 teams to compete with SEC having 2 FL teams. USF and Miami to B1G.

4. ESPN negociates path for schools out of ACC only if they stay with ESPN leagues. B1G takes AAU member USF to have Florida presence.

Are these likely, probably not, but feasible and possible.

Do we split revenue with the bucs?

We would then move our operations to Orlando and take the war on I4 to the NFL.  The possibilities of these various scenarios are endless and worth exploring IMHO.

Highly unlikely with today's situation. Now if we... win the conference, go to the playoffs, open new stadium, surpass $100MM in athletics revenue, increase endowment to $1B+, make the NCAAT in m/wbb all within the next 3 years, I think the likelyhood goes up tremendously. Does that mean from 1% -> 3%? Possibly, but still greatly increases attractiveness. I also think #3 is a given - highly doubt a single school from Florida will join the B1G, with next closest neighbor being... UNC? GaTech? Maryland? Would be a nightmare for olympics.

With the way realignment has gone in the past decade I wouldn't think that anything is unlikely at this point.

Agreed. SEC was pretty stealth in their latest move by inviting Texas & OU. That hit right in the middle of the summer about a few years ago. Won’t be shocked to see SEC pull off another stealth move but this time I’m predicting both FSU & Clemson are invited to the SEC. Not sure who the Big Ten will go after so we shall see.

I would say USF going to the Big 10 is as likely as USF going to the Sun Belt.
