Sit under the bucket and be an option low or kick back out and get boards. You can still be three point threat with a big - see UCONN.

I agree, but that does not appear to be CAAR's system.

Tulsa transfer guard PJ Haggerty, On3’s No. 2 overall transfer portal prospect, is officially off the board and headed to Memphis. He says he chose Penny Hardaway and the Tigers over Texas, Kansas State, and Providence.

Guess he’s not interested in any coaching.

Hopefully his system will adapt based on the strengths of the roster.

Maybe he knows whose next in line.

He’s going to get paid well via NIL and Penny still has cachet with the young kids.

CAAR ran great pick and rolls for Pryor and Walker.

NC State figured it out.

I’m pretty sure he will be starting at center next year unless we pick up another big guy. We needed him this  Season. He is a solid big with good size at 6’11 and good weight that can finish around the basket.

Hopefully everyone else on the roster comes back and we can see what we can do next year.

He started Tobiloba four of the early games this year so I'd assume that indicated he wanted to play with a post up player but DT just not ready as a true freshman. CAAR will indeed figure it out.

He started Tobiloba but he played out on the perimeter. His baskets usually came on pick and rolls. I think that his time was cut short due to defensive liabilities.

Would have to go back and look at the games but not sure why you'd start a 7' true freshman center and play him on the perimeter when you had a couple on the roster a lot more suited, and more experience, for that. I'm still thinking he wanted to run something with a true post up player, tried it and DT wasn't ready so he went back to more of what he ran at KSU. The addition of Reynolds would seem to support that.

Wowwwww. That's so lame. The only issue I have with it is that it's an in conference transfer. Seems pointless to me, not like Penny actually develops players.

If you're going to leave make it a big change not just some other in conference school that's trying to win from brute talent.

I don't know. I feel that going to Memphis from Tulsa is a major step up. Memphis despite a disappointing year is elite and probably the flagship program of the AAC. Tulsa is the exact opposite of that.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
