We get that number by adding last season’s reported figures for ticket sales and novelty/parking/concessions and dividing it by the total attendance. That equals $7 per fan. Students don't pay so much of the added attendance didn't add revenue for a ticket. I remember going to a Reno Aces game many years ago with the guy that was president of Minor League Baseball. Sat with the owner or president and remember him talking about how much the average fan will spend once inside the park. Getting the people in was more important than the price they paid to get in.
