Temple made it close late in the second half. Maybe FAU got caught looking ahead to Sunday

we play very similar styles. guard heavy with lots of 3's.

we have a better defense.  they have a better offense.

we absolutely have to defend the 3 point line.

3 point shooting will be the difference in this game.

I just hope to God this doesn't end up like the football game. Get a big crowd, national audience, everyone hyped up and then get beat by 30 in a blowout. We need to at least keep this game competitive, if not win it. Everything points to this being a great game - just hope it turns out that way.

agreed. We CANT LAY AN EGG. Losing is fine if the game is close. But if we get blown out of the building, you are not brining those causal fans back.

Time to see if it is true that this is not the same ole South Florida. Because the same old South Florida get beat by 15+

Nope! Not going to be getting blown out by FAU.  This ain’t the same ol’ South Florida, my brother!!
If USF plays their A game they will win easily imo.

I agree, no excuse for a blow out. But if it happens then the is exactly what we are.

nah never look at a small sample size and extrapolate anything from it.

especially with the extreme variance when relying on the 3 from both sides.

they may shoot lights out and we may not be able to hit the broad side of a barn. it could go the other way too.

doesn't mean anything other than one team had an off night and the other was clicking.

Agree. But just talking about the optics and getting people back in the building to support the rest of the season - and next.
