I don't know if I buy the "Tulane taking a step back" theory next year.  Unless maybe we play them really early.

They lost their QB1, QB 2, coach and a good 10 transfers total with 7 being highly rated players transferring out. I refuse to believe they will be just as good as the previous years

3. Memphis - rock steady and has been a winning program for almost a decade straight.  

4. Tulane - new coach, sure, but still expect them to be in top 5 in the conference. They should make a bowl. 

5. ECU - a stretch to think they'd be top 5, but I'd like to see them back and performing better than the newcomers. Good transfers and core players returning. 

AAC Championship game - 

1. USF - Revenge games against UAB, FAU, and Memphis on the schedule. As long as we do not trip against the other teams, we should be here. 

2. UTSA - momentum. Will compete for AAC championship after we beat Memphis in regular season.
