My father in law is a grower and has some farms in Cordelle and Albany. That is south GA or North Florida practically.

Had some kinfolk on my mom's side that had a tobacco and peanut farm in Vidalia about 60 years ago.

Vidalia is famous for Onions, lived in Macon for 2 years and 8 mos, longest decade of my life, place is shat imo.

60 years ago there were summer “camps” where high school students went to work in the tobacco fields.
