We don't have anyone that can get outside.  We do run it outside ... it just goes for a 3 yard loss

I think Joiner could or other young qb could. We do need way more speed at rb.

Why the hell do we run the ball straight into the crowd twice every series for a gain of 4 yards? Run the darn ball on the outside

Sterling Gilbert special  right there. Ironically we had a Florida transfer north-south running back then.

Even my wife who has no clue about football made that observation last week ha. Had no good answer...it's what we do.

I could see running the ball more if we could actually consistently run for 4 or 5 yards per play.

tell here because when  we do try to go outside they get tackled before they get outside the tackles because they're that slow.   Up the middle gives us a shot at some positive yards

He does that every game it seems for a full quarter he goes in a shell on offense I don’t get it. Keep your foot on the gas The UTSA quarterback is to experienced the kid has seven years in the system and is 24 years old. He’s not gonna make mistakes.

as you saw in the first half ,the play he made on third and 14 on the goal line was unbelievable. That being said, I don’t know how defensive backs did not come up quicker on that play

Pass defense is what we know it is and the offense always goes through a lull. Pretty predictable. When it was 14-14, I said we’ll finish the half down 28-14. Bingo. Right where we are. They score to open the second half - turn out the lights. One question: with all the 5/6/7 year guys on UTSA’s roster, is this year their last hurrah?

Could be their last year of such success.   Would be good news for us.

They have players that look like they are pros.  Sus.

Last time I saw joiner get a ball outside he went down with a DB arm tackle.   We need a lot more speed on offense.  My guess is we'll see it next year

OK, so it was pretty obvious we weren’t beating these guys this year. Gotta say, though, I have to laugh a bit about how they’re falling all over themselves to pump up Frank Harris. The dude is 24 and has been in college for 7 years. He’s doing exactly what he should be doing at this point - especially against this defense.
