Add two negatives and we get a positive?

Well essentially, when it works you're a genius and when it doesn't you're moron.  Doesn't matter which team you coach

this guy may not make it to next year

our coach always wastes a time out which tells me he is not sure about the call

I watch 3 quarters of that game - the call to go for it on 4th down was not necessarily bad, given game flow to that point and opponent

The play (snap through the QBs legs to the RB) was creative

The issue is that is was an option play on your own 34 - when the play broke down, Etieene did not know what to do

It should have been a snap through the QB with either a straight run up the middle or off-tackle by the RB - that probably would have worked

It reminded me of the blown 4th down play we ran last year against Cincinnati - right call to go for it, wrong play trying a pass

They were losing that game going for it or not....if gators only have 6 wins this year his seat is going to be scorching and wouldn't be shocked if they let him go this year.

This bleeds into the NFL as well.

Giants had the same situation today and the decision to not go for it lead to their loss.

I hear ya but going for it on 4th in your own territory is ******* stupid. I will never be onboard with that dumb ****. I don't care how bad a defense is, it's deflating to have to go out there and cover a short field cause your offense **** the bed.

I don't mind going for it when you are out of your kickers range, when a punting will only push them back 20 more yards, and ideally you would want be at least past the 50 going to the endzone. It really depends on flow of the game, field position, score of game, time left in the game, but, I prefer to take 3 points in a close game then fail going for it on 4th down . Short fields inside your own 40 is pretty dumb in a close game.
