We had to otherwise we would be 1-11 until the end of time. Preseason predictions failed in that our schedule is so weak this year. 3-9 w this schedule would have been equal to 1-11 last year. We could go bowling this year by winning 2 pillow fights in Nov...that's never been true til this year...the expectation had to be smashed.

Agreed. I've always been of the opinion that anything less than 500 (with a soft schedule ) this season would be a fail. That said, we've seen as many wins this season than we've seen in the past 3 years. Let that marinate for a minute.

Hell yeah we are overachieving and it feels like emotional schizophrenia. Roll coasters don’t do this ride justice. We up, we are down, we are beaten to a pulp, and we are rising again…. Barely. We have nearly seen it all. A bowl bid would be the ultimate overarching statement. If we manager 7 wins that would be crazy. Rest, work, and be ready to take on Memphis!

Highly doubt we would have seen 2+ wins with Scott.

4+ wins is definitely improvement.

I think I had 3 wins so I am thrilled right now at this pace.

Hell yeah!! Been a long time since USF had a bowl game to play for this late in the season. Meaningful USF football in November is how it should always be.

We are right where we should be. No excuses we got the job done. It wasn't pretty and was scrappy,  but we fought for the win. We need to show the fight in the last few series every series on both sides of the ball. Both sides were determined to win and didn't quit. The offense needs talent to work and hopefully Golesh can get better talent through recruits and the portal. The qb ay this year has also improved overall. It isn't pretty but we have a better TD: turnover ratio. Brown and Wright can run the ball at times very good and seem very ineffective when the defense knows it is coming. The other running backs besides Wright have been struggling recently. I hope over the bye week we add a few trick plays and some more creative running routes to the playbook to come out for blood against Memphis. Golesh deserves credit for breaking the lower mentality again of this team and teaching them how to comeback  to  win  in a game especially after getting knocked out two weeks in a row.

My hats off to Golesh, Wright,Brown, and the defense for getting the job done. My gameball goes to Wright.

Who says we lose Memphis and UTSA?! If the team that showed up to play Alabama shows up in either of these games, there is no way in hell we lose!
