Also don't forget there's going to be lacrosse lines all over it.  Need to figure out how to make those disappear a bit while still usable for the X team. It can be a lot of clutter for football.

The main lines you would see are the circle for the goalie crease and the outside lines by the numbers for the box, the other lines in the picture for for track and field (I think shot put). Yes, Lacrosse is in the spring so no issue for football.

Agreed, and the main green portion I wouldn’t paint and let the natural grass color do the work, ie Florida’s gator head on their field. I would do a similar thing with our end zone, our traditional Bulls with the middle unpainted, just have the Bulls outlined in white and gold.

Lacrosse is a fun sport to watch. My best friend used to play in high school, so we would watch the pro leagues together.

Turf is so bad man. I remember playing soccer on turf, and my ankles and knees would be in so much pain after.

Don't know when you played or if you've been in the new IPF.  When I walked out there I was expecting astroturf over concrete. I was shocked at how thick and plush that turf is. Don't know how that would relate to injuries but it sure wasn't like Tropicana Field when I was on it about 10 years ago.

This is very true.  Artificial turf has come far from the green putt putt turf that used to be used.

I played maybe 7 years ago at an outdoor turf soccer field. I was playing in an adult league too. So probably Wasn’t meant for college or pros, so it was probably not top tier turf. It did feel like padding on top of a really hard, packed down grass field.

It is, I feel like it is really underrated. I also played in high school and loved it. If we ever get a men’s team I highly recommend everyone checking it out. Nothing against the girls game, it is a fine sport, I just prefer the more physical game of the men’s rules.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
