The only problem I have with taking a knee is that it took us under 600 yards of offense.  😀

. . . That final touchdown.  Willie would have punched it in as opposed to taking a knee on the 10

Still, once the offense got rolling, it was fun to watch

I wanted to see it but getting out injury free was a big plus. We had nothing else to prove and nothing to gain by running up the score.

Based on the responses, it looks like I am in the minority on this, which is fine

It does underscore why I am in the stands while CAG is on the sidelines as opposed to vice versa:GoBulls:

I was kind of shocked he didn't though since he is so aggressive and went for it a few times instead of getting 3 free points already this season.

No disrespect intended but we're treating this like a practice?? CAG handled it perfectly ....

Real game reps. You know, those things that can't be simulated in a practice.

And again, they didn't stop playing when they had no chance of winning.

Sam B kind of disagreed with that on the broadcast. The risk/reward for a meaningless score wasn't worth it ..... I was even a little surprised he threw a pass to get that last first down.

😁  I am reminded weekly of my role when trying to coach the coach through the TV.  I think my wife may have pointed it out once or twice.

Yea, there was no reason and nothing to be gained by running up the score.

in soccer goal difference can be important when looking at tie breakers. Is that even a thing in football when teams have the same record that they look at point difference?

Me, too.  I guess it shows he has more confidence and control.  It's great to see.

The 3rd down pass was why I thought that CAG was going to go for the touchdown

Looking back at the game log though, that was a 3rd & 7 and while our run game had been ok, there was a decent chance we do not get the first down if they run in that situation

If we had come up short via a run, I am guessing that CAG would have gone for it on 4th down, opting to try to kill more clock as opposed to taking the points
