Appreciate! thank ALL FOR the well wishes All will try to follow better now. I had a stroke and was on ventilator for about a week Pyralisis on left side- reason my typing is bad. After a week they put in a traech and should be arranged to slowly change to normal  rehab is going great

it all happened July 6th 

Below is about a month afterwards when I was finally coherent.

Today I am pretty much back to normal. My face is nearly back to normal, by still paralyzed on left side; leg and arm. I can not move them, but have feeling. Never realized how heavy the arm and leg are by themselves.

Slowly my voice is coming back.

My wife has been here nearly every day!

I'd like to give a shout out to your wife.  When we have major stuff like this, they go through Hell, too.  I think it is worse for them.

reminds me the 2019 football season when I was having similar issues from my aortic dissection. Hopefully your kidneys are still working. I did not have the paralysis which might be worse than kidney dialysis. Hope that improves for you- seems like you getting some function back- even a little movement f the fingers is great. I was bed ridden to the point my body atrophied and I had to learn to walk and stand up. The worst part is being stuck in the hospital and then rehab.

I was on that ventilator for 6 weeks. took them until a week before I was released to have my trach taking out.

luckily all my organs are fine My kidneys are fine from the Diabetes.

im working hard on rehab to fix the paralysis
