Looks like we’ll be getting renderings on Tuesday, otherwise this would be an awful tease

Will be interesting to see if that actually happens seeing as they severed the contract with the design build team. Although they are trying to sole source to the AE firm. Perhaps that's what all of the meeting agenda item is supposed to cover... The acceptance of the soul source justification for the architect so the contract can be approved and then the renderings released

Sole source, build team change.  WW watching GD.  My non-source tells me this is all related to shade/non-shade at the stadium.  Cost per shade was outpacing budget.  Time to look at different shade.

Obviously not clear yet, but if this change is to ensure there is some kind of (cost-effective) shade at the stadium, it’s absolutely the right decision (even if it delays the stadium a year), if the alternative was no shade. Would much rather they do things right than quickly.

Barton Malow couldn't deliver these in green and gold ....

Exactly! Shade can always come later. As a matter of fact. It will be easier to sell the people on renovations to the OCS that includes shade. Roll it out in different phases. Marketing geniuses are at work…
