The teams coming in were better then Houston and Cindy this year. Uab was a tourney team the only thing that stop them was Florida Atlantic and FAU will be rank pretty high next year. Uab won the nit and they beat another team entering the American north Texas.

Understand the logic with this, but I think Houston was better than all these teams, FAU got in a roll. The AAC is a better basketball conference than where they are all coming from. Kids are transferring and leaving for the NBA, they will not be as good this coming year. Cincy is historically good at basketball and Houston is usually better than not, year in and year out.

Youngblood/Stroud/Jennings I believe all have 2 years of eligibility because the covid year. I think its fair to expect

Year 1: above .500 record, qualify for some postseason tourney. Even the CBI

Year 2: be competitive every game. just being on the bubble for selection Sunday would feel like a huge success after this last decade

Good to hear about Youngblood and Stroud having two years left. Its a good starting point for Coach Rahim to built something special

I agree. UAB, FAU, and North Texas had great years, but can they sustain it? Houston and Cincy are better programs overall, and have proven that over time.

Fau has all starters coming back and dusty may is coming back as well. They were  on a roll the whole year and ranked in top 25, only reason they weren’t ranked higher then 20s is because they didn’t play ranked teams. All that changed in the tournament, I’ll be surprised if they aren’t ranked top ten in the start of next year and chosen to win the American.

uab has some graduating I think, but they have a good coach he will reload in portal like he did with the team he had.

North Texas will probably fall off since the coach left.

Fair enough. I am intrigued with the upcoming season. I think we can finish middle of the pack or a little higher.

Don’t sleep on Charlotte AKA UNC-C. They won the CBI and have had a good basketball history. AAC will have a tough hoops conference moving forward.

Just FYI, after watching some video, the signee we need to keep on board is Tyler Ringgold. He’s a far better-looking player than Anthony Robinson.
