Yes but I foresee Dusty May being hired away. We shall see how good they are with continuing his success. Something that USF needs to take note of the next time we have good coaches hired away

Yes if having success with a team find a new coach that matches the prior coach and runs similar system.

Should be chapter 1 of being an AD for Dummies.

Seems like nowadays "next year" will always be a big unknown for most teams. Between NIL deals, the transfer portal, and coaching changes who can even predict what their team will look like. It's kind of a huge, high stakes pick-up game out there. Unfortunately, USF seems like that lonely dude wearing cutoff jean shorts and a baseball cap sitting on the sideline right now. At least we have our coach now. Hopefully, he can get some talent to join the squad. Guess we'll see... 🤘

FAU will be one of the best next season... only one SR from a talented team.

UAB and UNT both a lot of seniors (unsure of how many have eligibilty left), so they may take a bit of a step backward

Charlotte has a lot of seniors, but their better players are sophomores, so they may be improved next season.

Gonna be a fun ride.

For USF fans?

This I agree on. The turds to the east maintained a fairly consistent team after Scott Frost left because they went out and got a coach that had a similar offensive mindset and adapted his offense to what the players did best. Tags left and Harlan went with a defensive minded coach who brought an OC with him who clearly had no concept of what made the GCO really click.

Yes unfortunately UCF showed well how a program can maintain consistency and you can have success with multiple hires.

Strong wanted to slow things down...he shouldn't have made it past interview process.

Exactly! It was the ultimate buzz kill. Thankful he had that one good season before all the wheels fell off lol.

Sounds like the movie "White Men Can't Jump"

USF basketball is a dumpster fire and has been for many years.

Unless a major job opens up, I don't see him leaving. Any job available right now would not be a step up for him. Here is the current list of '23 coaching changes:
