Hill is a waste of a scholarship.  I have a sinking feeling Golesh might rival Scott for futility when all is said and done.

That's what a P5 safety looks ........ but having said that, Hill was at Auburn. Do totally get what you're saying, though, and let's just hope he's real wiry.

That P5 safety played at the high school where I work and was pretty well unrecruited until Illinois jumped in right before signing day. He’s now going to be drafted probably in the first 3 rounds and he could have been a USF Bull. I reached out to our secondary coach at the time - and our AD - and nada.  
 

He and his twin brother were both all-conference guys in the Big Ten and will be in the NFL, played less than an hour from USF and we never looked at them because Strong and his staff basically stopped trying. This is just another part of my frustration with this athletic program. We miss on opportunities right in front of our faces. Leavitt would have found these guys. Let’s hope Golesh is that type.

Oh, and there’s another one at Illinois right now who started out at Furman that I let them know about. He redshirted last year, but if he ends up being the player I think he can be, there’s just another reason to see how poorly plugged in we’ve been, which has led us to this point.
