Yup, top 100 all time in NCAA winningest coaches. Over 27 years of coaching he averages 21+ wins a season. Best resume of anyone we've ever hired besides Lee Rose

And the worries that he's retiring and won't work hard is complete nonsense. The guy's only 63. He can't even retire in France these days.  🙂

Charlie Strong had no sustained success when we hired him. Just 2 good seasons with a 1st round NFL QB.

Brey turned Delware into a tourney team. Then took a Notre Dame team that hadn't made the tourney in 10 years and made it more often than he missed it over 20+ years

I am happy with this hire. I feel he can take us to multiple NCAA tournaments.

another program in shambles, another firing, another coach coming in. hard to keep getting excited. 

i will always be a fan but as a donor i have about a year left in me to see how golesh and brey pan out. 

but i wish him luck.

I agree, you cant compare the two.  Strong's record at Texas was atrocious. He was lucky at Louisville when he hit the jackpot with QB Bridgewater

Brey took Notre Dame to the round of 32 as recently as last year. Besides that he brings decades of success at every level.

Kelly I believe made the right hire this time around.
