Not that I remember, I don't remember it hanging out there, so I think they bought it out a while back. But I too am old, and forgetful on this.

That was on a future schedule up until about a year ago.

Just realized Southern Miss and Bama road games will be a week apart in 2024 and its only a 2.5 hour drive between those campuses.

Game -> week vacation in Nola or Gulf Shores -> Game may be in the cards

That is a great plan.

Allow me to suggest Leeth's in Hattiesburg, and Dreamland in Tuscaloosa.

Leetha's closed and reopened in a different location from my last time there, but the new place has great reviews and the old place was awesome.

Funny story about So. Miss. I traveled with the team when we played them in Hattiesburg back in maybe 1999 or 2000ish?

When we pulled into the motel where we were staying, the staff had put "Welcome USF Bulls!" out on the marquee sign. The next day, when we checked out and the team bus was pulling out of the parking lot, they had already changed the sign to "Go Golden Eagles!"

Best thing about these schedules is Oviedo CC is nowhere to be found.

I think by 2028 we will be playing them again, since if we do things right, by that time we will both be in the Big 12. I think playing them again will be good for both programs.

Most sane people agree with you, the rest are simply butt hurt and are lashing out to feel better about themselves and the plight of our program.

Moving the Miami home game up to 2024 is good news.

It will be good news if we are ready to win and show out on the field by 2024. I hope the Bulls  are hungry and winning under Golesh.

We are hoping for an ACC invite.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
