Put Coach's or USF's reputation at risk, and you might get what you want or need.  It's reputational harm.  Very clearly in both cases.

Nobody is expecting action from him.  The coach did and he used the public square to coerce him.  You must be able to see the difference right?

For the last time, I am calling out the use of twitter to accomplish something by bringing the public into the issue.  Yes, it so happens that the coach and Boyles did it too.  You praised them for it.  It's like the people that complain on twitter to Delta because they had a late flight.  They believe by invoking reputational harm, they are more likely to get what they want.  It's dirty play, but as you say effective.  I still don't think you get it.  I don't care if you get it.  It's not hard to understand.
