Mons is responsible for some losses along the way.

Money talks. Unless we matched what CU offered

When deciding between jobs, many things come into play. Money, work life balance, location, opportunity for advancement, co-workers…… Deion’s best path for success is USF, larger talent pool, weaker conference, a chance to build a legacy and put a real stamp on a relatively young program; not to mention familiarity of the area, better quality of life, lower expectations and family connections in the area. In addition, IF FSU is a goal of his, staying here is the better “next step”. If the money is somewhat close AND he gets to choose his contact requirements and program oversight, that means a lot more than just salary.

Plus launch the new IPF and stadium, epic opportunity.  Plus way easier path to winning AAC championship than B12.

The IPF is nicer than the one i coached in. It will be a pleasure to send kids from a good IPF to one a few minutes down the road.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"I wish you guys could be in the locker room and be on the practice field because it is so much different from what it has been in the past."
